Last year for a conference, we got to go to Prague. I never knew how beautiful Prague is! We only got to spend one day in sightseeing but we tried to see all we could with 4 kiddos in tow.
El año pasado, viajamos a Praga con los niños. Que bonita este ciudad! En un día, vimos un montón!
Our itinerary included walking and more walking and grabbing some treats where ever we could.
We first got off the train in the city center and saw the amazing National Museum from the outside. With only one day and 4 kids with us, we decided to simply enjoy the beauty of its exterior. El Museo Nacional.
Then we started walking towards the Old Town. The richness of the colors of the buildings were beautiful! Los edificios coloridos.
We happened upon an outdoor market. Un mercado.
With fresh fruit and vegetables as well as crafts and toys, it was great for the kids. Wooden tulips, anyone? Con las frutas y los tulipanes de madera.
We stopped and grabbed some ice cream across from this amazing crystal shop. Una tienda de cristales.
But we eventually made it to the Old Town Square and you can see the Kinsky Palace on the left and the Church of Our Lady before Tyn. La Plaza Antigua.
The Old Town Hall with it’s Astronomical Clock is bustling with tourists but you definitely need to see it. It is the oldest working astronomical clock in the world! El Reloj Astronomico.
Afterwards we headed towards the Vltava River to see the Charles Bridge. El Vltava Rio.
But we got sidetracked at a little shop around the corner from the bridge when the whiffs of cookies came our way! Una tienda de galletas!
Czech cookies?!! Oh yes, please!! Made right in front of me?!! Double yes!!
But after our fill and grabbing a couple cookie cutters for my collection, we got to the bridge. La Puente de Carlos.
Amazing bronze sculptures! Las esculturas de bronce.
A great day of exploring! Beautiful Prague, we’ll be back one day! Un buen dia! Praga, nos vemos un otro dia!
