Let me just preface by saying I am no where NEAR being a fashionista. I love the beauty of clothes. I just don’t enjoy spending money on them. But yesterday I got the chance to go to my first fashion show! A Spanish friend of mine is a cousin of a famous designer here, so we got to sit in the second row for her Spring/Summer 2016 collection!! But even better, when the VIPs in front of us were a no show, they asked if we could fill in their front row seats! Score! I’m a Project Runway fan and I love the artistry behind fashion and appreciate the talent, so I was bummed I couldn’t bring my real camera. My friend thought it wouldn’t be allowed so iPhone to the rescue!
Love the high-waisted shorts!
Love the back detail
We got to go backstage too to see the ins and outs and say hi to her cousin (who is not pictured)!
If you like fashion, check out the Spanish designer, Charo Azcona! The show and the clothes was amazing!
And if you’re into architecture, the show was held in the Cybele Palace (Palacio de Cibeles) in Madrid, a beautiful building that once was the headquarters for the postal service.
